History :
Malis are only basic resourses person to carry out all the skill operations like, propagation of horticultural plants, nursery management, orchard management, tree plantation and maintainanace etc. Today there is heavy demand for such trained persons from orchardists, industrialist, bunglow owners and municipal corporation and private firms / farms. Therefore, this scheme for mali training is proposed in view to provide trained "Malis" and to create opportunities for self-employment and employment in private firms / farms.

Objective of the Centre : 
  1. To impart skill oriented practical training in horticultural crops for "malis" work.
  2. To provide opportunity for self employment to such trained person.
  3. Trained "malis" can be employed in different oganizations.
 
About the course  : 
Six Month Practical trainings to the candidates 
Eligibility Criteria for Admission : 
Std. 7th Pass or its equivalent.
Age - 18 to 40 years 
Admission Seats :    20 
Admission Details  :
Courses will be started in the month of July and February of the year. 
Admission details will be advertised in GUJARATI NEWS PAPER before commencement of course. 
Period of Study - 6 months 
Students Reservation (Percentage) :
Reservation for SC / ST / OBC candidates - 7, 15 and 27 %, respectively or as per norms. 
Scholarship / Stipend :  Rs.200/- per month
